How Countrivo works
A little more of the world
Six short geography games, new every day at midnight Berlin time. Draft a cabinet, follow distance clues, place a country on a map, recognise a flag, compare two countries, or estimate a number. Everyone gets the same daily boards.
No accounts
Open a game and play. There is no login, password or email to remember. When you finish, you can put a name on the leaderboard. Adding your name is optional.
Par gives you a target
Par is a fixed reference score: a good result to aim for. It is not a player. Country Draft has Par 140, Flag Quiz and Higher or Lower Par 9. In GeoWordle and Blind Pick, fewer is better.
Your streak, on this device
Finish at least one daily game on consecutive days to keep your streak. Your progress belongs to this browser. Clearing its storage, switching browsers, or forgetting the device starts over.
A leaderboard for the fun of it
Daily results are replayed and scored on the server. Each device gets one result per game and day. That stops fabricated score payloads; it cannot stop someone looking up facts or using another device. This is a friendly comparison, not a prize competition.
Practice rivals are simulated bots. They are clearly labelled and do not count as players or affect anyone's rank.
Keep exploring
Country pages connect statistics, neighbours and real people. Practice gives you fresh boards without changing the daily leaderboard. Past boards open after their day closes.
Sources, and what numbers mean
Every statistic has a source and year. Some datasets cover fewer countries than others. A high rank describes a number, not a judgement about the people who live there. Read the methods and caveats.
